About Rev. Sheila Pierce
For more than three decades, prior to becoming a minister, Rev. Sheila’s life experience was focused on the healthcare delivery industry. As a Registered Nurse: she served as Chief Executive Officer to profit and not for profit reproductive healthcare corporations; was President of her consulting firm Walker Pierce and Associates; and was an organizational generalist to various health care organizations. Throughout the years, as she continued to work in that environment and raise her daughter Aliesh, her personal vision began to expand. A path was revealed that led her from the visible to the invisible plane.
In year 2000, Rev Sheila graduated from the Holmes Institute with her Master of Divinity degree. All of her past experiences helped to pave the way for the co-creation, with Spirit, of The Center of Peace in Philadelphia. Rev Sheila has been the Spiritual Leader of this thriving community for well over ten years. She has witnessed its growth, and has encouraged the continuous unfolding of its vision. She has served as UCSL‘s Ecclesiastical Representative of the North East Region ,has served on their Standards Committee, has hosted the Regional Practitioners Oral Panels, has represented the Center by sitting on various non-profit Boards in the capacity of officer and continues to be a mentor to many.
Rev Sheila no longer says ”the best is yet to come” but states “the best is here, right now !! Live it to the fullest.”
