Line Dance/Potluck FAQ

What are the categories for the potluck?
Appetizers, Soups, Salads, Main Dishes, Side Dishes, Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free, Desserts.

Do I need to provide my ingredient list?
Yes! An ingredient list is provided for those who have food allergies, intolerances and dietary restrictions. Please submit your ingredient list to fundraising@thecenterofpeace.org by Sunday, December 1, 2025.

Do I need to provide my recipe?
No. We just need the ingredient list for now. You can submit your recipe for the cookbook at a later date.

What is the latest date to submit my dish for the potluck?
The deadline is November 30, 2025.

How do I earn the coveted “TCP Superlative” designation for the upcoming cookbook?
Each dish will be voted on by the attendees of the potluck only. Each dish will stand on it’s own and be rated in the following categories: Flavor, Appearance, Texture, Aroma on a scale of 0-5. 0=Poor, 1=Below Average, 2=Average, 3=Good, 4=Very Good, and 5=Excellent for a maximum score of 20. Any dish scoring 18 and above will earn the designation as a “TCP Superlative”.

Do I need to know all the dances?
No, you do not. We will have someone leading you through the steps of each dance. And remember, even if you have two left feet and miss every step, its all about letting loose and having fun!

Do you need volunteers for the event?
Yes, we do! If you are interested, please send an email to: Fundraising@thecenterofpeace.org

Can I make more than one dish for the potluck? And do I need to pay a separate entry fee for each dish?
Yes, you can make more than one dish for the potluck.  Your $20 entry fee for your first dish will cover all of your entries.  Please note each dish must be entered separately.  After your initial entry, please use the “custom” designation on the drop-down menu and enter $0.
