WELCOME TO THE CENTER OF PEACE!

The Center of Peace is a trans-denominational spiritual community that honors all paths to God and recognizes the uniquely individual journey that each person must travel. We practice a New Thought philosophy and welcome people of all spiritual paths—Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Islam, New Age and others—into our community.

We are one of nearly 400 Centers for Spiritual Living that promote awakening and personal growth through the exploration of the ancient wisdom of eastern and western cultures as well as spiritual and religious traditions practiced around the world.  Learn more about what we believe and why on our blog (or) download PDF about Science of Mind Philosophy/Principles.

Ayenda Lambert has been a proud member of The Center of Peace since 2013 and serving as the Vice President of the Board of Trustees since 2021. Her diverse background in various industries has enabled her to contribute to TCP in different ways. For instance, she has integrated graphic designs and the latest technology, such as QR codes, into existing marketing platforms to increase TCP’s exposure through various marketing campaigns, Sunday live streaming, and social media.

Last year, with the support and assistance of Rev Twana and the Board, Ayenda implemented the “Beyond The Four Walls” series. This Board directive was an opportunity to build deeper relationships, by creating community for spiritual practice, and having fun outside of the Center.

Currently, Ayenda is working with other TCP members to implement digital infrastructure using various Microsoft 365 products. Elizabeth “Liz” Johnson

Elizabeth “Liz” Johnson joined The Center of Peace in 2019. She instantly fell in love with the hugs that transported you to another place in time, along with openness and outpouring of love and support. It wasn’t hard to decide this was the place where one could truly discover the life our souls have been seeking.

In February 2023, Liz began serving as the interim Treasurer. Within that time, she has fostered relationships with some business bankers within the community to ensure the needs of the Center and the community it serves. From this relationship, TCP is experiencing significant growth in the Center’s Money Market account and the establishment of our first major credit line.

In the coming term, Liz affirms to grow TCP’s investment portfolio to generate passive income while continuing to reduce expenses. She also intends to streamline processes by implementing policies and procedures for accounts payable and receivable transactions.
